The English Department is dedicated to advancing the written communication skills of NKU students. The following list of websites and articles was compiled to help students create quality college papers by improving their research and writing skills.

A Writer's Reference includes exercises and tutorials to teach students the fundamentals of effective writing. This site offers tips on how to develop thesis statements, capture the reader's attention, write in proper format (MLA, APA or CMS) and even gives examples of effective essays with commentary.
