Before the BookFest celebration on May 4, 2012 at NKU, students can compete for prizes in any or all of the contests listed below.

BookFest Trailers Contest
Movie trailers are a way to promote upcoming movies. Our contest asks students to create a trailer for their favorite BookFest
selection that will persuade people to read the book.
BookFest T-Shirt Design Contest
BookFest participants receive a special t-shirt to commemorate the event. This could be the year that your artwork is chosen to
adorn the official t-shirt. So get out your markers or fire up your computer drawing program. The winning design will be worn by
hundreds of people.
Barbara Collier Essay Contest
Win prizes for writing a creative essay related to selections on the BookFest 2012 reading lists. A team of judges will choose
the top three essays in each of the age groups.
