Licking River Review
The Licking River Review is a literary/art magazine operating under the auspices of Northern Kentucky University. Our mission is threefold:

To showcase outstanding student work in writing, art and photography

To promote the outstanding work of writers/artists from any region in the country

To provide student editors and staff members with valuable hands-on editing/publishing experience
The Review's foremost goal is the publication of worthy endeavors whose dissemination will reflect Northern Kentucky University’s literary/art community. No less than 25 percent of each magazine’s pages are devoted to writing and artwork created by NKU students, alumni and staff.
The student editor and staff are responsible for publishing one issue per academic year. Submissions of poetry, prose, creative non-fiction, photography and artwork are accepted from August through December for each issue.
